Rifle Colorado – “NEW Show Date” – 23-24 SEP 2017 at the Rifle Garfield County Fairgrounds

Vendors are being solicited for a two-day show. Vendor setup from 08:00 to 09:00 AM. Vendors Only Hour – both days of Show 23-24 SEP, from 09:00 to 10:00 AM to buy, sell, trade before doors open at 10:00 AM. *Modern firearms, Class III, C.A.R. firearms, firearms accessories, reloading supplies & ammunition will be allowed for sale. *NO black powder allowed to be sold/traded. TABLE fee for the two days is $70.00. No single day tables are offered for this show. Vendors must staff tables from opening time to closing time both days.

Show will be open to the public both Saturday & Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Events Center/Garfield County Fairgrounds.

You must send in your table application to Post Office Box 52, Brighton CO 80601. Payment by check or money order should be made payable to GLOBOS, Inc., (managing entity), and received NLT 20 SEP 2017 in order for your table(s) to be reserved.

CONCEALED CARRY WEAPON (CCW) CLASSES
 

Classes available Saturday ONLY 23 SEP from 1-4 PM & 5-8 PM.
 

Open to students from 11-years and Up. Informational, Fun & Entertaining. Class is limited to 50 students per class. Students – NO ALCOHOL to be consumed before or during instruction. Bring your own food & refreshments.
 

Classes provided through the Tradesmen Gun Store, by a 25-year law enforcement veteran & firearms instructor.
 

COST: $60 payable to the Audie L. Murphy Infantry Museum (501-c-3) the day of class 23 SEP 2017.
 

The Audie L. Murphy Infantry Museum is headquartered in Brighton Colorado, and was founded by U.S. military veterans to preserve the uniforms, equipment and vehicles used by Infantry Veterans during their time of service from WW II to the present. Letter of donation will be provided upon request the day of Show.

NOTICE: A new requirement will be in place for year 2017. Vendors must staff their table(s) from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Vendors leaving early will forfeit the privilege of renting tables for the reminder of 2017.

*A survey conducted during 2015 and 2016 canvassing Buyers highlighted significant concern that tables were filled before 12-noon, but began to empty after 1:00 PM. A survey conducted during the same period canvassing Vendors highlighted input to conduct all Shows as a business, with set requirements and expectations of Vendors for Show hours.
 


 

KITCHEN: Vendors and Buyers can take advantage of breakfast and lunch. Quality Inn offers a good selection of food and refreshments.

Quality Inn offers discounted rooms for Vendors, and also a discounted breakfast.
 


 

FIREARMS: Vendors and Buyers with firearms? We will have security positioned at the front entrance door, who will ensure all firearms have a nylon tie-strap securing the trigger mechanism. Please secure the trigger mechanism for all your firearms.

Colorado Firearms Background Checks will be conducted on firearms NOT meeting the Curios & Relics State statue?

If the firearm is 50 years or older the day of the show, it falls under Colorado HOUSE BILL 13-1229, SECTION 1, Colorado Revised Statutes, 18-12-112paragragh (6) THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION DO NOT APPLY TO: (a) A TRANSFER OF AN ANTIQUE FIREARM, AS DEFINED IN 18 U.S.C. SEC. 921(a) (16), AS AMENDED, OR A CURIO OR RELIC, AS DEFINED IN 27 CFR 478.11, AS AMENDED; as found on page 3.  

*There will be a Militaria Collector Show staff member on-site to conduct a background check should there be a need. Cost will be $20.
 


 

VENDORS: Military Collectibles, Curios and Relics, or more modern firearms can be bought, sold, traded and displayed. Military collectibles, i.e., anything military, equipment, badges, uniforms, helmets, knives and bayonets can be sold or traded.

NOTE: Absolutely no ammunition, explosives or pyrotechnics of any kind are to be sold or displayed.    
 


 

Vendor Tables: Wall Tables at $35.00. Center Tables at $30.00
Vendor setup: 8:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M…  Tear-down is no earlier than 3:00 P.M.
 

*Should a Vendor fail to pay for a table(s), there is no guarantee tables will be available for future shows.  Tables in turn, may then be sold based on “first come/first served.”

Show Admission: $4.00.
*All net proceeds from admission fees are donated to the non-profit Audie L. Murphy Infantry Museum.
 

Children: under 12 are free with paying adult.

Military: Active, Retired, Active Reserve/ Guard personnel of all branches are free with military ID card.
